Crochet Pattern For A Bag – Retro Shoulder Bag

This is a robust bag designed for everyday use. It has reinforcement in the base, the sides and the short handles, which means it stands on its own. It has a zip closure, with extra optional poppers and instructions are included for adding a lining.

The pattern is 15 pages long and includes written instructions, photo tutorials and charts and the mosaic technique is fully explained – a great pattern to try out mosaic crochet !!
Size: The bag is approximately 25cm (10 in) wide at the base and 20cm (8in) wide at the top. The height is 17cm (6.7 in) to the bottom of the handle section. The base is a rectangle shape and is 6cm (2.4 in) wide.
Yarn: I used Lion Brand cotton 24/7 and a 3.25mm (US D3, UK10) size crochet hook to give a tight finish.
