Crochet Purse Pattern – Retro

This Retro purse is made using the inset mosaic crochet technique worked with two rows per colour which is MUCH easier than it looks – honestly! It is approximately 15cm (6in) wide and 9cm (3.5 in) tall.

The pattern includes full written instructions as well as notes, charts and photo tutorials on how to work the mosaic crochet technique – a great way to learn this stylish, geometric style of crochet.

Level of Difficulty: Confident Beginner

You will need:

2.5mm crochet hook
2 x 10g balls in main colour (yarn A) and 2 x 10g balls in contrast colour (yarn B) of Scheepjes Catona
13 (or 15) cm zip
fabric to line the purse (optional)
tapestry needle
sewing needle & thread to add the lining (if used)
