Ruffle Edge Scarf Knitting Pattern

£3.50

This semi-circular shaped garment curves snugly around your neck, and can be worn as a shawl or wrapped around as a cowl. It is worked from end to end with the ruffle knitted as you go, making it completely adjustable in terms of size.

It uses the German short row technique to create the ruffled edge, which I believe is the easiest short row method. and is fully described in the pattern, but you can use whichever is your favourite.

Details are included on how to adjust the pattern to make a shorter, fatter shawl or any other changes you may like to make.

Work in stripes as shown or a single colour or why not try a self-striping yarn. Let your imagination run wild!
