Shawl Knitting Pattern – Half Pi

A half pi shawl is a wondrous thing! It is incredible how the semi-circular shaping comes from such simple mathematical theories, which you don’t need to know or understand!!. Full instructions & photo’s are provided. The shawl has a wingspan of 160cm (63in) and a radius of 75cm (30in) after blocking

I used a total of 230g of eight different left-over sock yarn shades in blue/green/purple jewel-like tones. You can use as few as two or as many as seventeen! You will also need a long 4mm (UK 8, US 6) circular knitting needle, 2 stitch markers and a tapestry needle to weave in ends.
