Crochet Shoulder Bag Pattern – Steps

If you love to try interesting crochet techniques then this small bag pattern is for you! It uses a mosaic crochet technique worked with two rows per colour which is MUCH easier than it looks – honestly! As long as you know the basic crochet stitches of chain, double crochet (US single crochet), treble crochet (US double crochet) and slip stitch you are good to go.

The pattern is 8 pages long and includes written instructions, photo tutorials and charts and the mosaic technique is fully explained – a great pattern to try out mosaic crochet !!
It is designed as a shoulder bag but you can make the handle longer and turn it into a cross body bag.
Size: The bag is approximately 24cm (9.5 in) wide x 17cm (6.5 in) high. The handle is approx 75cm (29.5 in) long but can be made longer.
Yarn: I used Lion Brand cotton 24/7 and a 3.5mm (US E4, UK9) size crochet hook to give a tight finish, but you may need to go to a 3.25mm hook.
ANY DK OR WORSTED WEIGHT NON-STRETCHY YARN (E.G. COTTON) CAN BE USED.
