Cushion Cover Knitting Pattern – Slip Stitch

This pattern uses various slip stitch knitting combinations to create a stunning colourful cushion which is very easy to make. It was made as a collaboration between myself as the designer and Helen Ingram of Wooly Chic who provided her Pembrokeshire DK yarn.

The cushion measures approximately 35cm (14in) square. Each stitch pattern has a different tension and the pattern is written with increases and decreases between each section to keep the overall width the same.

You will need:

Yarn A = Grey (West Yorkshire Spinners Jacobs DK, minimum 50g)

Yarn B = Raspberry (Pembrokeshire DK, minimum 50g)

Yarn C = Ecru (Pembrokeshire DK, minimum 60g)

Zip 35cm (14in) long

You will also need a pair of 3.75mm (UK 9, US 5) knitting needles, a tapestry needle to weave in ends and a 35cm (14in) square cushion inner.
